I find urban cityscapes to be particularly interesting. Sometimes it is the overall cityscape, call it the horizon if you like, other times it's a grouping of buildings, and sometimes, nothing more than a singular structure. No matter which, they all pulse with life. I can feel the motion that surrounds them, and strive to capture that on film with time exposures, bringing life to an otherwise static image. I also find that each structure, as well as each city, has it's own life, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, year after year. Even the stillness in the early morning hours has it's own life. After all, "urban" is about life, about people, and about motion. Urban Art Photography is about capturing the many facets of our life in the cities, whether ancient or modern, as they all breathe.
